Home Alone is a 1990 family comedy about 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left behind when his family goes on vacation. Alone in his suburban Chicago home, Kevin initially enjoys his newfound freedom, but his fun is cut short when two bumbling burglars, Harry and Marv, try to rob the house. Using his wits and a series of clever traps, Kevin defends his home, outsmarting the crooks at every turn. The film is a heartwarming and hilarious tale of a boy’s resilience and the importance of family.
The Friends of the Fox is a volunteer, non-profit organization offering a monthly classic movie experience at the Bob Hope Fox Theatre. Founded in 1995, the Friends of the Fox supported the restoration of the Theatre through significant fundraising efforts. More than 25 years later, the organization continues to promote the Theatre as an integral part of the Stockton community and the “Crown Jewel” of downtown Stockton’s revitalization efforts.
