Event Details
The Bucket List is a heartwarming comedy-drama that follows two terminally ill men, billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and working-class mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman), who meet in a hospital and bond over their shared grim prognosis. Together, they draft a "bucket list" of daring things they wish to accomplish before they die, from skydiving to traveling around the world. As they embark on an adventurous journey, they not only check off items on their list but also form a profound friendship, discovering meaning, joy, and redemption in the most unexpected places.
The Friends of the Fox is a volunteer, non-profit organization offering a monthly classic movie experience at the Bob Hope Fox Theatre. Founded in 1995, the Friends of the Fox supported the restoration of the Theatre through significant fundraising efforts. More than 25 years later, the organization continues to promote the Theatre as an integral part of the Stockton community and the “Crown Jewel” of downtown Stockton’s revitalization efforts.
