U.S. NATIONAL BATON TWIRLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Nearly 500 of the nation’s best baton twirlers will compete in the 2022 U.S. National Baton Twirling Championships, July 11-16, at the Stockton Arena. The competition, which is sponsored by the United States Twirling Association (USTA), runs from 8 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m. each day and is free and open to the public.

Highlights of the National Championships include the National Collegiate Finals, featuring many of the nation’s top collegiate twirlers, which will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 15. The Collegiate Finals will be followed by the National Finals Show, beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. also on Friday, July 15. The exciting Team Finals will be held at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 16. All finals will be held in the Stockton Arena and are free and open to the public.

Please note that the arena will be using the following security procedures for all events. Please plan accordingly. 

• Walk thru metal detectors at all entrances of the facility; all patrons will walk through a metal detector prior to gaining access to the arena. If needed, security will perform pat downs on patrons in addition to the metal detectors. 

• Bags larger than 10" x 8" x 6” will not be permitted into the arena, this includes backpacks, purses, and diaper bags.   

• Camera policy is set by the show, best practice suggests no cameras for events. 

• No weapons of any kind will be permitted into the arena. 

• No outside food or beverage will be permitted into the arena. 

• We are a cashless facility! All points of sale within the venue are no longer accepting cash. Please be prepared to pay with your credit card, debit card or mobile pay. Thank you! 

• The arena is a no smoking facility, there is no designated smoking area. 

• The arena has a no re-entry policy. 

We encourage you to plan accordingly for traffic in the City, parking and long lines when entering the arena.
